TASTE AWARDS Add New Award Categories, including Best VR

The TASTE AWARDS Committee is pleased to announce new award categories have been added, including for Best Virtual Reality Film or Documentary.

The addition of the VR Category comes after last year’s awards for best Technological Innovation went to three VR companies, as well as the growing amount of VR content being created across genres.

 

Best Virtual Reality Film or Documentary (VR)

Best VR. Any Length. Entry should be about or noticeably include visuals, topic, or content that spotlights either food, fashion, design, action sports, exercise or travel.

Other categories that have been added or revised include:

  • Best Kids Programs, Films or Documentaries
  • Best Action Sports, Adventure, or Outdoors Film
  • Best Ethnic Lifestyle Films or Documentaries (Black/Latino/Asian)
  • Music Video of the Year

TASTE AWARDS Beverly Hills Reception Tickets Now Available for Feb. 21st

The TASTE AWARDS Committee, the Academy of Media Tastemakers, the Advisory Board, Ambassadors, and Partners and Sponsors are pleased to announce the 8th Annual TASTE AWARDS will take place on February 21st in Beverly Hills.

Award Winners of the General Award categories as well as Award Honorees have been announced, and along with the remaining award winners including Viewers Choice categories will receive their honors on February 21, 2017 at a star-studded Red Carpet Awards Reception of food and fashion TV celebrities, including winners, nominees and presenters in Hollywood.

All other Winners, Honorees and Inductees have been announced and can be viewed here.

Winners of the Photography Category Awards, Craft Award Winners and Best of Region Winners (Canada, Europe, Australia/NZ, etc.) will be pre-announced in late January 2017.
